GSD surf school staff wear White Rash Vests
I was up at 06.00 a.m this morning mainly due to the fact that the sun was shining, after what feels like days of rain and wind the sun is out and everything is irie! The webcam is showing a new small swell due to be arriving for Friday and Saturday.
Yesterday I took Izzy and Lara swimming at the Village Hotel SA1 which hosts a superb health club, gym and 25 meter swimming pool which unlike every other indoor facility in Swansea yesterday was still mellow. After a play in the pool the girls had a hot chocolate each whilst I tapped into the free wifi and checked in to the office.
Anyway the sun is out and we are going to the beach, see you down there.
What a great day, in the morning I was surf coaching guys on an empty Gower beach and then by five was at the national stadium located in the capital of Wales along with the red tide that had surged into Wales making it a carnival weekend. Most of the pubs between Pembroke and Cardiff were packed with the red of Munster drinking guiness like there was no 2morow.. What a superb couple of days for Welsh business.
The atmosphere was unbelievable, the noise in the stadium from the 70K Munster men was deafening and when their team run on the park you new there was no way the French had a chance. With support like that, Munster could have beaten any team in the world last night!
Here is a video I shot with my phone hit the you tube link: Munster Men Party in Cardiff

SNOG fest '08 (part 1)
This Sunday MAY 25th/Dydd Sul yma 25ed MAI, @Hendre Hall, nr Bangor (j12, A55)
This years event (now in its 7th year) is returning to its humble
beginnings where once it lay at the forefront of the festival calendar.
The May Bank Holiday weekend has always held with it the promise of
good fortune for an eventful summer season, and this year is no
exception.
With every year the festival calendar becomes fuller and fuller and the
opportunity for performers and artists to express and perform become
ever more accessible, and with it the increased audience to witness
this live spectacle.
This years SNOG fest '08 event is no exception, in fact, if it were an exception then it would be an exception in the reverse to the direction to which many and most festivals work. As the events become bigger and more main stream, then so the acts become bigger and more main stream, and so to, potentially, do the very things that made them festivals in the first place, the people. As the individual becomes increasingly less significant and just heads in a crowd or similarly distant figures on a stage. At SNOG we want the audience to connect with the arts, to participate with the arts, and become a part of the arts.
Whether the sun is shining or it's bucketing down, it doesn't matter. Come along now. snog.
