Rhossili surf in the 4ft plus stage at the moment. Like many other surfers, I was up at 5 a.m and down on the south gower reefs with flash fisher this morning, only to be skunked by the conditions again.
We got wet had a few waves out at the ledge by ourselves and then went for breakfast in Trams of Mumbles.
Just got a copy of the new Carve mag, it is pretty spot on about surfing in Wales and yes it is really amazing that a world class and possibly best British surfer ever Mr Carwyn Williams came out of Langland.
Having said that it is an excellent place to learn surfing with so many soft beach breaks so close to Bristol, Birmingham and London.
p.s going to put the free surf dvd on my carve mag on in a moment and dream of surfing.. is dreaming better than doing?
