The heat draw is full, the swell forecast is good increasing in size as we go through the weekend and The AXL DOH Pro is ON!
The ninth Welsh UK Pro Surf Tour event will kick off as planned this weekend, with the best British surfers battling it out at Rest Bay, Porthcawl.
The positions at the top of the rankings could not be tighter, only around 100 points between the leaders. This event will be one of the most important surf contests we have had in Wales. Next Monday we will know who will be challenging for the title.
Top contenders include: Reubyn Ash (Bude), Alan Stokes (Newquay), Mark Harris (Newquay) Reubin Pearce (S Africa) Oli Adams (Newquay), Joss Ash (Bude), Jayce Robinson (St Ives) and Micah Lester (Aus). Also with an outside chance an on-form Russell Winter, possibly one of the best surfers ever to com out of the UK.
