Yes, that is right many years ago the 'ballboy' and his dad (Mr Martin Morgan) had a surfing lesson on a lovely sunny day at Rhossili bay with us. Martin is a great guy and a real hard worker and deserves all the success he gets.
My take on the situation, the ball boy did his job like many others do around the country and did not deserve to get kicked. It is actually a shame that the ball boy was not one of the ospreys rugby academy or one of the tough kids from the 'Hill' because Hazard would truly have been in for a shock!
Anyway, well done Swansea City FC you have made the whole city very proud and I am sure the whole City will be following you to Wembley at the end of Feb for the Capital One Final. (p.s anyone read the book called.. The Slap ? )
Ok, back to Gower Surfing check out the weather charts for the week ahead > Storm Surf
Those charts will be sending XXL wave hunters into a feeding frenzy, yet again Ireland gets all the swell, but, spots down south will get magical lined up long distant swells, I just hope the winds are right for them.
As for us here on Gower, big (for here) and stormy with the odd break in the winds may give you an opportunity to ride some waves, look on the brightside it will be warmer than last week!
Have a good weekend and good luck to Mumbles & Ospreys RFC today.
