There are several walks from Mumbles village that we (my wife plus 2 toddlers) walk on dry days and yesterday despite the cutting wind was no exception. We set out from Langland corner (.5 miles from Mumbles) then walked to Caswell bay following the bus route. At Caswell Bay we took the coastal path heading back to Langland Bay.

The first picture at top is one of the stunning views from the coastal path which winds itself along to Langland Bay, we saw the resident seal floating in the tidal current enjoying the early spring sunshine.
Then the final push takes you down into Langland Bay picture below:
Both beaches have cafes and food outlets, we like the Langland Braz' nearest one to the point as you come from Caswell Bay, it also has free wifi so you you can catch up with your social life 2.0!!
You can always take a pack lunch and thermos flask and use one of the many benches to sit down and enjoy the views and peace... and then of course that is a free activity for you all.
