Good luck to Swansea City Football team on a night that would have made Mike Kent proud

 

Above my father in law Mr Mike Kent '..once a Jack always a Jack..'

Born and bred Swansea boy, Mike would have been so proud of what his team has achieved and defo would have been up in the City of Manchester tonight with the Jack army. What a proud moment in the history of Swansea City.

Mike use to give me lectures on many things, but mainly about how my team West Ham needed to follow Swansea's example by the supporters taking control of their club. Which of course Mike and many other loyal Jack supporters did back in the day to get rid of the dark 'Petty' era.

Tonight will be a celebration, but also a time to reflect on a great guy that should have been in Manchester with his mates. RIP Mike Kent

NEWSFLASH From BIG WEDS.. 3 surfers rescued as 30 ft plus set hits them

Mike and I just getting ready to paddle out when a massive set came through and caught 3 maybe 4 surfers .. one board survived and they all clung to it... Mike managed to get the alarm to a patrolling naval boat and the guys got rescued after a traumatic hour in a building swell... waves of 30 - 40 ft smashing the coast here.. Mike has told me we are not going out without that boat sticking around... the guys had been having fun in 15ft plus surf and then one massive set came in that signalled the change from big fun to near death experience.. Old  school big wave surf legends, Mike and Tim have run down the beach to see if anyone else needs help as we are still missing one guy.... the rescue was filmed by a local...
