Above is a picture taken at Rhossili Bay, Gower as you can see a surfer is just about to head back out to the waist high peeling waves that are breaking safely on to the golden sand. Unlike Padang Padang which is a heavy Indo reef break ideal for advanced surfers only! Pics of > Padang Padang
Anyway, if you fancy surfing or getting your partner into surfing forget paddling out at Padang Padang come to Gower and try Caswell Bay or Rhossili Beach you know it makes sense > Gower surfing school

A must visit destination, Rhossili is always in those 'top destination/places to visit' it is well managed between the National trust and local farmers. The car park at the wormshead is very well managed with plenty of stewards on hand for security and advice on the area.

Are you getting nervous yet? On the eve of the first test, most conversations here in Mumbles are to do with the massive Rugby match being held in Durban on Saturday.
In fact, two of the stag groups surfing with us at Rhossili Bay have opted to get up and start the day early so that they can get to the pub in time for kick off.

Rhossili is an awesome place to visit and surf, a total surfing experience with the pretty village offering everything a visitor requires.

As stated on other posts Rhossili is seen as the flagship beach here in Wales with superb services, campsites and pub overlooking this it is a must visit and surf at beach, see you soon!

Rhossili Beach was recently voted in the top 10 must visit destinations here in the UK, described by GowerLIve the surfers website as.... 'Rhossili, set just down the beach from Llangennith is one of those
unique locations on earth where they apparantly boast one of the best
sunsets in the world..'
The village itself has everything the visitor needs including a pub that has the view above from it's windows and beer garden, picture yourself sat apres surf session supping a pint of the local brew looking at this!
Rhossili hosts an excellent camp site, easy parking and even a bus that runs on a regular basis between Swansea and the village.

What a magic night we had at Rhossili beach on Gower, a small group of surfers enjoyed empty perfect waves and then after the short walk up the steps we had a pint together in the Wormshead Hotel, nice!
