We offer school, university, guides and scouts and other such large groups interested in surfing great discounts. (We can invoice for work and provide all the surf equipment as part of the course fees, all our instructors are CRB advanced certified.)

One
to six day courses cover all aspects of outdoor leisure and activity
management, personal development & key skills, tourist site
visits & talks by professional providers. We can target specific
modules within your course syllabus. Evidence can be collected
throughout the course in several ways via photo, video, written, self
assessment, discussion groups & staff observation.

Day one –

Evening
activities can also be arranged to entertain the participants. This
is an example of one itinerary but we can tailor a programme to suit
your requirements. You may wish to visit on a weekend or for a
shorter duration.
Evidence
for Course Work
We
can design activities and worksheets to ensure students record
learning outcomes and produce a portfolio of evidence gathered during
the week. Lecturer course notes can be provided to help fully
prepare college staff before the residential.

GSD
provides residential and day courses each year for Clifton College,
Bristol; Marlborough College, Wiltshire; Local Authorities including
City and County of Swansea, Newport, Blaenea Gwent; Kent County
Council, Birmingham City Council and Duke of Edinburgh Award Schemes.
During the months
of April – October 31st, we operate surfing lessons and surfboard equipment hire seven days a week
November – March (with the exception of school holidays) we operate weekends only, however we can cater for bespoke customer requests during the week
Lessons are available for groups on Gower, Newquay, Cornwall and surf holidays Algarve. We can provide references from regular user groups such as Kent county council, Clifton College, City and County of Swansea just ask us and we will provide details
We offer a wide range of courses trying to cater for all, here is a snapshot of some on offer; stag and hen weekends/days, junior surf academy, school holiday activity breaks, outreach work, youth and community work, Local Authority contract courses, summer holiday academy, private small groups, group courses, 1-2-1, women only, Welsh medium, activity weekends, intermediate surf courses, corporate team building, surfboard hire,…….

We pride ourselves on a ‘surfing 4 all ‘ policy and all are welcome to attend, we have wetsuits that fit 6 year olds up to front row forwards and even the odd second row player
Surfing is great way to get fit, get healthy, meet friends and improve your confidence
Surfing is also used as a great way of bonding, team building or working with individual young people
Our surf courses generally start at about 10 a.m until noon then there is a lunch time followed by a session 13.00 – 15.00 ish The ‘ish’ is always added as most of our customers travel from far away and not always turn up on time, the day is flexible and we will do our utmost to ensure you get plenty of time in the surf
We also offer surfing lessons first thing in the morning or after work which are popular
